MotaWord connects to Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, Windsurf, and more through the Model Context Protocol. Create translation projects, check progress, and download completed work without leaving the tools you already use.

MotaWord runs a Model Context Protocol server at api.motaword.com/mcp. Any MCP-compatible tool can connect to it. You authenticate once with your MotaWord account, and your translation projects are accessible from that tool going forward.
Typing a request in natural language is faster than navigating a dashboard for quick tasks. With MotaWord's MCP integration, your AI tool becomes another way to interact with your translation projects.
What you can ask:
Every request hits your real MotaWord data. These are not summaries or approximations. The AI tool calls MotaWord's API on your behalf and returns actual project information.
Translation projects move through stages: pending, started, in progress, and completed. Instead of checking your dashboard, ask your AI tool. You get the same real-time progress data that the dashboard shows.
When a project is complete (or partially complete), ask your AI tool for the download link. You get a direct link to the translated files. You can filter by language if you only need one.
Connecting MotaWord to your AI tool is straightforward. Each tool has a slightly different setup flow, but the pattern is the same: add the MCP server URL, authenticate with your MotaWord account, and start using it.
Detailed setup guides with video walkthroughs are available in your MotaWord dashboard.
MotaWord's MCP server uses the same REST API that powers the dashboard, CLI, and all other integrations. If you are already using the MotaWord API or CLI, MCP gives your AI tools the same access.
Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI tools connect to external services. MotaWord runs an MCP server that gives AI tools access to your translation projects.
